Named after Goddess Morjai http://www.cheapultraboostuncaged.com/ , Morjim is a tiny town located in the Pernem Taluka of North Goa and situated on the northern bank of the Chapora River. It is home to the Olive ridley sea turtles & a variety of birds as well. Morjim is ffer some of the best relaxation things. Morjim Beach is also locally known as 鈥淟ittle Russia鈥?because of huge inhabitation of Russians here who stay for more than a month in this beautiful heaven.
With lots of Russians and very less locals; this place does not offer much shopping. Whatever is sold here is mostly of use to russian tourists. So if you are looking for Russian souveniers; you can shop it here. Other stuff includes local dresses, designer light wearing clothes, shoes, sea 鈥?shell bangles and other such stuff which are more of for daily use rather than shopping stuff.
Morjim Beach is filled with Russians tourists.
